Freddie L. Brink

Freddie L. Brink, 75, of Franklin Township, Pa., passed away Saturday, Feb. 2, 2013 at his home following declining health.

Freddie was born May 3, 1937, the son of Alvin "Jack" Brink and Viola Casselbury Brink. He was employed by the C.C. Allis Lumber Company in Herrickville, Pa., for 34 years until his retirement in 2001. Freddie enjoyed working on garden tractors, visiting with family and friends, playing cards, going for rides, fishing and attending dirt track races.

He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Brenda and Dennis Merrill of Rome; son James L. "Jamie" Brink of Franklin Twp.; grandchildren Eric and Kristy Merrill of Rome, Pa.; sisters Judy Terascavage of Homets Ferry, Doris Allen and husband Harold of Franklindale, Gertrude Newman and husband Robert of LeRaysville as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son Freddie Brink; his long time companion Joyce Marie Seeley and brother-in-law Lawrence "Larry" Terascavage.

A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 7, 2013 at Wysox Cemetery, Wysox, Pa., with Rev. Thomas Blackall officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of the Maryott-Bowen Funeral Home, 217 York Ave., Towanda, Pa. There are no calling hours.
