Geri J. Hall Dailey, 75, of Monroeton, Pa., passed away Monday, June 2, 2014 at the Arnot Ogden Medical Center in Elmira, N.Y. surrounded by her loving family.
Geri was born Oct. 14, 1938 in Newark, N.J., the daughter of Wilbur and Anna Rosso Hall. She was a graduate of Pocono Mountain High School and in early years was employed as a waitress. Geri later owned and operated a garden store in Tannersville, Pa., a cleaning business and worked as a real estate agent. She served as a Girl Scout leader in the 1970s and 1990s. Geri enjoyed the outdoors and gardening.
Surviving are her husband, Charles D. Dailey; daughters, Deborah Werkheiser of Seattle, Wash. and Lori Gocek of Scotrun, Pa.; grandchildren, Samantha and Zachary Gocek; step sons, Todd Dailey of Lehighton, Pa., Douglas Dailey and wife Sandy of Lehighton, Pa., Jared Dailey of Washington, DC; and her brother, Robert Hall of Arizona.
The funeral service will be held at 8 p.m. Thursday, June 5, 2014, at the Maryott-Bowen Funeral Home, 217 York Ave., Towanda, Pa. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, at the funeral home.
