James Klotz Sr., 79, of Troy, Pa., passed away quietly at home on Wednesday, June 11, 2014.
Born on March 17, 1935 in Chester, Pa., Jim was a son of the late William L. and Sara (Gray) Klotz. He moved to Bradford County in 1981 and settled on the Hidden Spring Farm in West Burlington Township.
Professionally a software engineer, Jim also remodeled two Victorian homes and built two barns as well as being a great husband, father and grandfather.
Surviving are his wife of 61 years, Elva "Ellie" (Taylor) Klotz; three children, Janice (Mark) Webster, Eve (Michael) Orvis and James Jr. (Lorraine) Klotz; seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and two brothers.
In keeping with Mr. Klotz's wishes, services will be private. Interment will be in Birmingham-Lafayette Cemetery in Chester County, Pa.
