Joseph Anthony Iglio

Joseph Anthony Iglio, 56, of Greentown, Pa.,, died on Thursday, Oct. 3, 2013.

Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., he was the son of the Hate James and Ida (Cervo). He was the husband of Marjorie (Maskarinec)

Prior to retiring, he worked at the Tobyhanna Army Depot and served in the U.S. Navy. In his free time he enjoyed riding ATVs and boating. In 2003, he placed second in Super Boat Internationals World Championship Power Boat Race in Deerfield Beach, Fla.

He was the loving father of Dr. Sara lglio, and her husband, Jeremy Haloskie, of Albrightsvìlle, Pa., and Dr. Caroline Iglio, and her husband, Robert Cusson, of Bloomsburg, Pa. In addition to his children, he is survived by his brother, Peter Iglio and his wife, Marcella; three grandchildren, Clara Cusson, Cora Haloskie and Theodore Haloskie; and several nieces and nephews. He was the son-in-law of Sara Maskarìnec, and the brother-in-law of Blanche and Neil Wilson, and Michael and Nancy Maskarinec. He was preceded in death by his brother, James Iglio, Jr.

A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 14, at Ehrhardt's Waterfront Resort on Lake Wallenpaupack.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice Community Care, 100 William St., Dunmore, PA 18512; or Stand Up to Cancer (SUZC), in memory of Joseph Iglio.
