Linda M. Joslyn, 73, of Burlington Township, Pa., passed away Friday morning, May 2, 2014 at her home following declining health. Linda was born in Brooklyn, N.Y. on October 13, 1940, a daughter of Joseph and Alice Konig Mitchell. She was a graduate of Uniondale High School, Uniondale, L.I., N.Y. She attended nursing school graduating from Elmira College, Elmira, N.Y. Linda was formerly employed as a Licensed Practical Nurse at the Bradford County Manor in West Burlington Township, Pa., Ashton Health Care in Athens, Pa., and by Elderwood Health Care in Waverly, N.Y. She also served as a bus driver for the Troy Area School District for a number of years. Linda enjoyed flower gardening, reading and researching genealogy.
Surviving are her husband, Gary L. Joslyn Sr.; children Kenny Dalton of Burlington Township, Eileen Snyder and husband Scott of Springville, Pa., Michael Dalton and wife Dale of Monrovia, Md., Mary Dalton of Mountain Lake, Pa., Gary Joslyn Jr. of Burlington Township, Joseph Joslyn of Athens; grandchildren Kelly, Amanda, Gavin, Robert and Ashley; a great-granddaughter; sisters Michele, Cynthia, Mary and Rosie; a brother, Michael, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Alice Boyce, Joe Mitchell and Joe Boyce.
A private funeral service will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in Mountain Lake Cemetery, Burlington Township, Pa.
