Mark B. Wright

Mark B. Wright, 84, Of Waverly, N.Y., went home to be with the Lord on Nov. 1, 2013.

He was the son of Meylert and Marion Wright. Mark grew up in Granville Summitt, Pa., and worked on various farms throughout his school years. After graduating in 1946 from Troy High School he joined the Air Force and became a Staff Sgt. while stationed in Arizona. He was married to the love of his life, AnnaLee (Tyke) Tillotson, on Feb. 3, 1951. For 37 years he worked at Stroehmann Bakeries and resided in Waverly where they raised nine children.

He is survived by his wife, AnnaLee (Tyke); his children, Paula, Stephen (Gina), Regina, Jeffrey (Penny), Mark (Stacey), Beth (Mark) and Joseph (Holly); and son-in-law, Jake Horvat. He was predeceased by his daughters, Melany and Marjorie. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

Mark has two surviving sisters, Phyllis and Merylene. He was predeceased by two brothers, Wayne and Phillip; and four sisters, Jennie, Margie, Marie and Shirley.

Mark was well loved by his family and had many friends which he cherished and called his own.

He touched many lives throughout his lifetime.

A time of gathering with family and friends will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 5, at the Blauvelt Funeral Home, 625 Broad St., Waverly, N.Y. The celebration of Marks's life will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 5, at the Blauvelt Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Calvary Baptist Church, 701 West Pine St., Athens, PA 18810. Burial will be in the Bradford Memorial Park, Luthers Mills, Pa.
