Pasquale DelGaone, age 73, of Dushore, Pa., passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, Feb. 25, 2013 with his loving family at his side.
Pasquale was born in Montepagano, Italy on April 8, 1939, a son of the late Pietro & Loreta Pomante DelGaone. He immigrated to the United States in 1966 and began working in the trade of stucco. He mastered his trade and started his own Masonry & Stucco Firm until his health failed.
His first wife Anna Carusi predeceased him on January 19, 1987. He married the former Juana Bardales of Philadelphia on March 26, 1988.
In 1996 he and Juana purchased a lunch truck business "Jimmy's Lunch Truck" which they operated at Wilmington Delaware Port for five years until retiring to Sullivan County in 2000.
In his retirement he and Juana completely stoned their home and also built an impressive stone wall around their adjoining pond. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing and was the local Cherry Township vintner.
Pasquale was a member of St. Basil's Church, Dushore, Pa.
Surviving is his spouse Juana, at home; son Peter (Florence) DelGaone and a daughter Loretta (Giovanni) Adinolfi, both of Haverford, Pa.; and eight grandchildren.
Friends may call on Thursday, Feb. 28, 2013 from 4 to 6 p.m. at the P. Dean Homer Funeral Home, 206 Water St., Dushore, PA 18614 and on Friday, March 1, 2013 at the Stretch Funeral Home, 236 East Eagle Road, Havertown from 10 to 11:45 a.m. and followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Denis Church, 2401 St. Denis Ln., Havertown, Pa. at noon. Entombment will be in SS Peter and Paul's Garden Mausoleum, 1600 South Sproul Road, Springfield, PA.
