Daniel Wilber, 18, of Troy, Pa. passed away on Monday, June 23, 2014 from injuries received in a motorcycle accident. We'll miss your presence daily, your smiling eyes and face. God took you to His Heaven, a far more lovely place.

Daniel Leslie "Dan" Wilber, the son of Leslie "Les" and Ronda (Leonard) Wilber of Troy and brother of Mackenzie, was born on April 7, 1996 in Sayre, Pa. He was a popular, happy-go-lucky young man who loved to help people. Dan was a member of the 2014 graduating class of Troy High School where he especially enjoyed Trojan wrestling. He loved being outdoors with nature, hunting, fishing, trapping, boating, Motor-Cross and playing in the mud with his big yellow truck. Dan was active in 4-H, having raised pigs and was starting with cattle. He was also very interested in farming and worked for the VanBlarcom, Beardslee and Feusner farms.
In addition to his parents and sister, surviving are his grandparents, Ron and Kathy (Tripp) Leonard of Horseheads and Leslie Sr. and Donna (Williamson) Wilber of Troy; several aunts, uncles and cousins. Dan also leaves many very close friends.
Calling hours are 5 to 8 p.m., Thursday, at Pepper Funeral Home, 578 Springbrook Dr., Canton. Rev. Chris Nauta will officiate the funeral service at 11 a.m. Friday, June 27, at the Victory Church, East Main Street in Troy, followed by interment in Glenwood Cemetery.
