Margaret S. Ross, 89, of Elkhart, passed away at 1:46 a.m. on Sunday, April 21, 2013, at Elkhart General Hospital, Elkhart, Ind.

She was born March 27, 1924 in Towanda, Pa., to David Rahm and Anna (Ellenberger) Smith.
In April of 1947 in Philadelphia, Pa., she married Clifford Douglas Ross. He preceded her in death on Feb. 19, 1985 in Elkhart, Ind.
Margaret was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and the Elkhart Elks lodge #425. She enjoyed reading and watching TV. Margaret worked as a secretary for various divisions of Skyline for many years.
Surviving are a grandson, Stephen D. Ross of Sandy, UT; two nephews, Jeff and Scott Smith both of Towanda, Pa.; and numerous great nieces and great nephews. She was preceded in death by a son, Craig Ross who passed away on Jan. 10, 2007.
Visitation for family and friends will be for two hours prior to the 1 p.m. Friday, April 26, 2013, funeral service at Walley-Mills-Zimmerman Funeral Home, Elkhart, Ind. Pastor Bob Vale from the Osceola United Methodist Church will preside.
A funeral service will also be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, May 1, 2013, at the Maryott-Bowen Funeral Home, 217 York Ave., Towanda. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Towanda.
