Valerie (Berry) Harman, 55 of Orlando, Florida passed away Dec. 26, at her home.

She was born Jan. 27, 1958 in Endicott, N.Y. to William and Sandra Berry of Windham, Pa. Valerie graduated from Northeast Bradford High School in 1975 and moved to Orlando, Fla. where she resided. Valerie worked in the restaurant business for more than 30 years. She worked for Perkins Restaurant as a certified new store opener/trainer, opening new restaurants throughout the U.S. A woman of strong will, Valerie looked after those she loved with persistence and determination.
She leaves behind her loving life partner of 30 years, Don Holubik of Orlando, Fla.; daughter Angela Gaston and grandsons Pierce and Degan Gaston of Mt. Dora, Fla.; and son Matthew Harman of Minnesota. Also surviving are her mother Sandra Bennett of Owego, N.Y.; brothers Scott (Linda) Berry of Rome, Pa., Jim (Linda) Berry of LeRaysville, Pa.; sister Vicki (Elliot) Niman of Chenango Forks, N.Y.; as well as several nieces and nephews. Valerie was predeceased by her father, William Berry.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 18, at the Parish House in LeRaysville. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Bradford County Humane Society, P.O. Box 179, Ulster, PA 18850 in Valerie's name.
