Wayne "Fuzzy" Dann, 65, long-time resident of Troy, Pa., passed away Tuesday evening, April 23, 2013, at the Troy Community Hospital.

Wayne Albert, known as "Fuzzy" to both family and friends, was born on Nov. 8, 1947, in Troy, Pa., the only child of the late Raymond Dann and Minnie (Lee) Dann Nenninger.
As a young man, Wayne grew up on the family's dairy farm in Sylvania, Pa. He later went to work for Remington Rand in Elmira, N.Y. and then Eureka Paper Magic in Troy. Most recently, Fuzzy retired from Parker Hanifan in Canton where he was employed for many years. He was a member of the Sylvania Church of Christ.
Fuzzy loved the outdoors and wildlife. In earlier years, he enjoyed hunting and watching birds was always a favorite. He was an avid card player and especially liked the game of Euchre. Fuzzy will be dearly missed and remembered as a caring, good-hearted person.
Surviving are a daughter, Laurie (George) Evans of Troy; two grandchildren, Brandon Evans (his fiancée Kate Yates) and Samantha Evans; an uncle, Ted Lee of Springfield; numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, friends and his beloved dog, Sparky.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his stepfather Arthur Nenninger, an aunt and uncles.
His family invites friends to call from 2 to 4 p.m. on Sunday, April 28, at Pepper Funeral Home, 578 Springbrook Dr., Canton. A funeral service in celebration of his life will follow at 4 p.m. with his pastor George Ogden officiating. Burial will be at 11:30 a.m. Monday at the Glenwood Cemetery in Troy.
