Teresa M. McLean, 92, formerly of 200 Chestnut St., Towanda, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 23, 2013, at the Personal Care Home in Towanda.

Teresa was born in Towanda on July 30, 1921, the daughter of the late James and Carrie Mason Christino.
Teresa was a graduate of the Towanda High School. In early years, Teresa was employed by the Commonwealth Telephone Company and was later employed by the Bradford County Board of Assistance in Towanda for many years, until her retirement. She was a member of the Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Towanda. Teresa loved cooking and baking.
Teresa is survived by her sisters, Margherita Chiola of Towanda, and Marie Beahan of Winter Haven, Fla.; niece, Peggy Sealander of Gaitheresburg, Md.; nephews, Stephen Chiola of Wyalusing, Pa., Michael Beahan of Lyme, N.H., Jake Beahan of Mt. Dora, Fla., and Thomas Beahan of Sharpsburg, Ga.; and several cousins.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gordon McLean in 1968.
A memorial mass for Teresa will be held at a later date. The family suggests memorial contributions be directed to Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, 106 Third St., Towanda, PA 18848; in memory of Teresa M. McLean. Arrangements are under the direction of the Maryott-Bowen Funeral Home.
