Norman James Fleet, age 79, of Dalton, passed away Friday, Jan. 25, 2013 at Regency Park.

He was preceded in death by his mother Margaret Herbster Fleet; father Ollie Fleet; brother Ollie Fleet; sisters Norberta Fleet, Edna Biswick, Norma Heubert and Fonda Krapf.
He was a member of Fellowship Bible Church.
He is survived by his wife Joan Fisk Fleet; daughters and sons-in-law Michele and Jeff Pipe of Marietta, Lucinda and Bill Lutz of Westfield, N.J., Renee and Dan Fenton of Wyalusing, Pa.; son and daughter-in-law Gary and Judy Fleet of Dalton; grandchildren Natalia and Richard Williams, Norman and Taryn Fleet, Niles Fleet, Charissa Pipe, Kirstin, Kara, Kylee Lutz, Levi and Katrina Fenton; great-grandchildren Blake and Tucker Williams, Connor and Rory Fleet; several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service to honor the life of Mr. Fleet will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 3 at the Fellowship Bible Church, 2044 Dug Gap Rd., Dalton, GA 30720 with Rev. Jim Suddath officiating.
The family asked that flowers be omitted and memorial donations be made to Pursuing Grace & Truth Ministries, P.O. Box 6418, Dalton, GA 30722.
