A very good friend, I always enjoyed our conversations about the going to sea. Jerry was great help to me and the folks in the Records & Services Section of FHEO (Production) when I work with him and Jan on the first Event Reporting System. I enjoyed so much going to Montville Station because of the feeling of being appreciated by Jerry and his staff. Smooth sailing my friend.

I just heard of Jerry's passing. The world has lost a good man. I enjoyed working for Jerry at Montville Station. He was a good and fair boss and I'll miss him. Best wishes to all his loved ones.

We are eternally grateful to Jerry for being the most amazing father-in-law that our daughter Amy could have ever hoped to have. He taught her crafts, independence, humor, good times, and love. During her formative years in early marriage, Jerry was a patient force, tirelessly encouraging adventure and skill learning. May he rest in the peace that he instilled in others !

Rico and I are so sorry. Jerry was such a great person. We always said, he's one of the best. He was a great, husband, father, brother-in-law. He will be missed.
