Betsy...(& family), I've been thinking about how to express my sadness about your dad's passing. It sounds like he was a man devoted to his family & community...a credit to his generation. He was blessed with a loving family and taken way too soon. Your photos and bio of his life demonstrate many cherished moments & memories. Hold them dear and remember him as the vibrant man he was before this terrible illness took him from you. My deepest condolences on your loss.

Mrs. Stone, Ben, Betsy, Jeff & Jenny,
I am thinking of you all during this sad time for your family. I will always remember the twinkle in Mr. Stone's eye and the wicked grin which always followed one of his wise cracks. Makes me smile just thinking of it now!
May time heal your sad hearts.

Ellen, Pam and I were very saddened to hear about Charlie's passing. He was such an easy going and friendly man. It was good to be able to discuss politics with someone that knew what he was talking about. We enjoyed the times that we were able to get together with you and your family in past years.

It was a pleasure working with Charlie over the years at Emerson and the opportunity to host him at dinner in Memphis during one of his vacation trips. I will always remember him as a friend.
