Aldora Goncalves Obituary
Born in Madeira Island, Portugal, she was the daughter of the late Jose and Maria Gomes and lived in Pawcatuck for 35 years. She retired from the American Velvet Mill in Stonington and was a communicant of St. Mary Church, Stonington.
She is survived by her sister, Margarita Goncalves and her husband, Jose, of Stonington; nephew, Paul Goncalves of Boston, Mass.; niece, Elizabeth Schramm and husband, Dwayne, and their children, Caitlyn and Dylan; and extended family in Portugal and South Africa.
Aldora is predeceased by four sisters; and one brother.
A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday, April 15, at St. Mary Church, 95 Main St., Stonington. Burial will follow at St. Mary Cemetery, Stonington. There are no calling hours.
The Mystic Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
