Lorraine Geragotelis Obituary

Ledyard - Lorraine J. Geragotelis, 82, passed away peacefully Wednesday, Sept. 26, 2012, at her home after a long illness.

She was born on March 22, 1930, in Bristol, to the late Joseph C. and Mary Rose (Rivard) Landry. On June 21, 1952, she married her beloved husband William, who predeceased her in 2003. Lorraine worked for years at Vality's in Gales Ferry as a sales associate in the men's department and then as a postal clerk for the Ledyard Post Office, all while being a loving wife and mother.

Lorraine is survived by her sons, Michael J. and William V. Geragotelis; daughter, Gail M. Geragotelis; two grandchildren, Nathan and Jake; and one great-grandchild, Hank.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Rt. 12, Gales Ferry, immediately followed by burial at Avery Stoddard Cemetery. There are no calling hours.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice Southeastern Connecticut, 227 Dunham St., Norwich, CT 06360.
