Bettie Guilds Obituary
Bettie was born on April 14, 1925, in Oxford, Mich., the daughter of Robert and Faith Hall, sister to four loving brothers.
Bettie was a devoted and loving wife and mother extraordinaire. She loved to cook and enjoyed baking pies and plum pudding with her grandkids and their friends.
She is survived by her three daughters, Sharon (Guilds) Kujawa (Gerry) of Bedford, Mass., Lorrie Shearer (Terry) of Canton, Mich. and Linda (Guilds) Zamarka (Mark) of East Lyme. Grandmother of Kellie Flohr, Matthew Shearer, Elizabeth and Steven Zamarka. Great-grandmother of Noelle, Wyatt, Natalie and Nolan. Bettie is also survived by a nephew, Alger Fraleigh.
She is predeceased by her beloved husband of 67 years, Robert W. Guilds.
A private family gathering has been held and a celebration of her life will be hosted by the family.
Fulton-Theroux Funeral Home, Niantic is handling the arrangements.

Lorrie, The first time I met your mom when we visited Tucson, she welcomed me with open arms. We immediately bonded over a lot of our similarities. She made such delicious dishes and overall such a friendly, happy person. It was an extreme pleasure getting to know her in the week we stayed with her and your dad.

I am so very sorry to hear about your loss of mom/grandmom. In the brief time that I got to know her, I enjoyed her company and her smile. She was so very fortunate to have such a loving family to care for her. YOu are all to be blessed for your loving care of her.
