Anita and family,
Don't really know what to say about a man like Ed. He was most definitely one of a kind. There are so many things I will always remember about him. In the summer, whenever he did a job or favor for me and I asked what I owed him, he always said "Just a fudge sicle" or if it was a bigger job, it was "Just 2 fudge sicles". When Ed and I would see each other out and about he always asked "What it is?" Then he would tell me " It sucks. Sucks real bad." He could be having the best day ever and that was always his answer. Well, this sucks because we just lost a special person.
Anita, dont ever forget all of Ed's little quirky things he would say or do. Those made him the one of a kind man that everyone admired and loved.
Rest easy, Ed and dont eat too many fudge sicles!

Eddie was a real nice guy. He and I played Semi Pro Football together with the Jewett City Speed Boys. He will be sadly missed.

Vicki and Ed's family,
I am saddened by the passing of Ed. I had the pleasure of working together with Ed at Stan Williams in Mystic way, way too long ago. I learned a lot from Ed and there was hardly two minutes that we didn't find something (or someone) to laugh about. He was a good friend and when I would see him later years when he visited here from Maine the same chuckles would start all over again. He was a talented man and I mean most affectionately a real character, in the best sense of the word.
Go easy and rest, Ed.

We have fond memories of " Fast Eddie " on and off the men's softball fields. He was always great with his humor and so well received. He will be missed.
