I am sending my deepest and heartfelt sympathies, and prayers to the family of Dr Gada. I was heartbroken to learn of his passing and his battle with Lewy Body Dementia. I was a patient of Dr. Gada's for over 20 years. He was a wonderful person and extraordinary dentist. He spoke often of his family with great love. I felt that he was a friend as well as my dentist. I was lucky to have known him for so many years, and again to his family, you are in my thoughts and prayers. There really never do seem to be words to express how you feel at these times. RIP Dr. Gada.

Dear Phyllis and family I am so saddened to hear of Ed's passing. I don't know how I missed his obituary and just heard today. So many lunches we had together in the Friendlies in Naintic where I was the manager. He was devoted to family and loved Dentistry I remember well the magazine cover he had on his office wall with his ski cap and ski's a happy time in his life for sure. I will miss seeing him around town at various events. Please know you are in our prayers and thoughts.

I was so sad to hear of Dr. Gada's demise. He was an excellent person and a good dentist, too. He was my dentist until he retired to pursue his avocation. I will think of him up there enjoying the new snow of the ski season. The world is a poorer place without him.

I had the good fortune to see Dr. Gada and his family, three different times while bringing our massage therapy students to the common room for practice. I was able to see that sparkle in his eye again. The last trip out, just about two weeks ago, I went looking for him and found his room, he seemed so bright and attentive and happy to have two of his girls and their little ones with him. It was a very happy time for all of them. I asked him if he remembered me, he gave me a huge smile, and said yes, so I asked him if he remembered my name, his reply was so enthusiastic, he said....what ever you would like it to be! So grateful to have been able to visit, even for those brief minutes. He will be missed.

Dr. Gada was my dentist for many years and then he took care of my children. He was responsible for my medical career which started with Dr Casper Burke whom I worked for 5 years. I then went on to get my education in nursing and become a Hospice nurse. This all started with Dr. Gada who made all this possible.

I remember Eddie's white, toothy smile and gorgeous , thick, wavy curls when I saw him at Canton High School and UMass Boston. We teenaged girls called Eddie a "hunk." When we tried to get him to skip class at UMB to play "Hearts" with us, he respectfully declined and ran to his classes and labs! He was a classy, handsome, industrious friend and I'll miss him at our 50th class reunion. I am sad for his family's loss. Love, Kathleen Branagan Clark
