Betty Shear remains in our hearts and prayers. An exceptional lady and gracious hostess her life touched many who emerged better for the experience. Now she has rejoined her beloved Hal. Rest well, Shears. Make a place for us where you have gone for we too shall be along.

Members of my family remember Betty as a gracious and helpful friend. She took her role as a commanding officer's wife seriously and did it with perfection. We are forever grateful. Betty, RIP with your wonderful husband.
