Frederick Wright Obituary

Fort Myers, Fla. - Frederick Siebert Wright, born Feb. 12, 1922, passed away in Fort Myers, Fla. on Sunday, Jan. 27, 2013.

He was predeceased by his wife of 34 years, Sophia (Karamargin) Wright; his sister, Catherine (Wright) Geyer; and brother, Hiram Calvin Wright.

He is survived by a brother, Kenneth Wright; and sister, Edna (Wright) Crandall; as well as three children, Jean Carroll Wright, Tage Nielsen Wright and Charles Frederick Wright; as well as multiple grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A Family Celebration of Life will begin with a memorial graveside service and spreading of ashes presented by the family at noon June 15, 2013, at the family plot in Elm Grove Cemetery, 197 Greenmanville Ave., Mystic. The immediate and extended family and friends are welcome to attend.

In Frederick's honor, his children, Jean, Tage and Chuck and their families will host a Wright Family Reunion, Celebration of Life and Open House, beginning at 2 p.m., at the home of Candy and Bill Vorra, 113 Jeremy Hill Road, North Stonington.

For his entire life, Frederick's strongest ties remained in Mystic, Groton and North Stonington, where his immediate and extended family grew up, lived and worked. So let's have some food, fun and falderal, for all Fred's family, neighbors, old friends n' even Kin yet to meet. All, including children, are welcome.
