Gloria Nickell Obituary
After retiring from the postal service, she enjoyed taking walks, bingo and crafts.
She is survived by three daughters, Patricia Cooke of Ridgefield, Karen Massaro of Stonington, and Laura Rieger of Carolina, R.I. She also leaves three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren; and her dog, Bailey.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 22, at St. Mary Mother of the Redeemer Church, 69 Groton Long Point Road, Groton. Burial will follow in Elm Grove Cemetery. There are no visiting hours.
Donations in her memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital ([email protected]).
The Dinoto Funeral Home, 17 Pearl St., Mystic, is assisting the family.

I share your grief over the loss of Gloria. I fondly called her my "Aunt Gloria" although in reality she was my mother's cousin. May she rest in peace.
