Jacklyn Dent Obituary
She was born in New London, on June 7, 1953, to Clarence and the late Lydia (Mattson) Bradley.
She married Roger Dent on June 5, 1974, in North Stonington.
Besides her loving husband, she is survived by a son, Justin Dent of Oakdale; a daughter, Jillian McHugh and her husband, Shawn, of Staten Island, N.Y.; and grandchildren, Candice Dent, Brixton Dent, Achilles McHugh, and Caitlin McHugh. She also leaves behind a brother, James Bradley of Marlborough, Mass., and a sister, Ellen Parke of Benecia, Calif.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 3, at the Groton Bible Chapel, 66 Toll Gate Road, Groton. Calling hours will be held from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Montville Funeral Home of Church and Allen, 63 Norwich New London Turnpike, Uncasville. Burial will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 4, at the Connecticut Veteran's Cemetery in Middletown.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jacklyn's honor to the Rainbow Bible Ranch, 14676 Lonetree Road, Sturgis, SD 57785 (605) 923-2367.

Thank you all for your expressions of sympathy. I have visited Jackie's gravesite numerous time since December and thought you might like to see her grave marker at the CT veterans cemetery in Middleton.
