Janet Eastwood Obituary
She was born Sept. 14, 1933, in New Haven, daughter of the late Theodore and Mary Louise (Brandriff) Eastwood. She worked for Yale University for many years, until retiring. A master gardener, she also worked as a floral designer for Long's Florist in East Haven. Janet was very artistic and was a classical pianist, including playing piano at the Short Beach Union Church.
She was the loving and devoted homemaker to her children, Julie Little of Sun Valley, Idaho, Catherine (Gary) Goodman of Milwaukee, Wisc., William "Billy" (Sue Landino) Burhans of Old Saybrook and Jennifer (James) Clavet of Middletown. She is also survived by six grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her brothers, Theodore and Roger Eastwood.
Relatives and friends are invited at 11 a.m. Wednesday, to a Memorial Service in the Short Beach Union Church, Branford.
The W. S. Clancy Memorial Funeral Home, 244 North Main St., Branford, is in charge of arrangements.

Aunt Janet, what a wonderful soul Heaven has gained. You will always be remembered in my mind for your words of wisdom during a difficult time in my life. Gramma I loved you so much and I'm only sorry I wasn't able to be around as much as I wanted while you were sick. I will always remember how special and magical you made holidays and how beautiful you wanted the world to be, and I hope to carry that on for you. I will miss you so so much.
