Janet Littlefield Obituary
Mrs. Littlefield was born in West Hartford, on April 6, 1921, the daughter of Norris Langdon Bull and Mildred (Cooke) Bull of West Hartford. The family moved to the Hawk's Nest Beach area of Old Lyme in the 1930's with Janet graduating from W.M.I in New London in 1939.
She was recently predeceased by her brothers, Norris L. Bull Jr. of Marblehead, Mass. and Lewis Bonar Bull formerly of East Lyme.
Janet is survived by her sons, James Norris Littlefield and his wife, Georgia Lee, of Niantic and David Howard Littlefield and his lifetime companion, Elene Desillier, of Old Lyme. Also surviving are granddaughter, Heather Littlefield of Port Charlotte, Fla.; and great-granddaughter, Coral of Peru; grandson, Kevin James Littlefield and his wife, Diane, along with great-grandchildren, Daniel and Jamie Littlefield (all of Waterford); and granddaughter, Lanie Littlefield Loscoe and her husband, Peter Loscoe, of East Lyme. She is also survived by two sisters, Theodate Lockhart of Niantic and Altabelle Pflomm of Old Lyme.
The graveside service is private with the Fulton-Theroux Funeral Home in Niantic handling the arrangements.
The family would like to thank the wonderful caregivers at the Bride Brook Health and Rehabilitation Center in Niantic for the wonderful care and concern they gave Mrs. Littlefield in the last few months of her life.
