Joseph Mettler Obituary
Joseph was born July 13, 1925, in Middletown, son of the late Paul and Elizabeth (Mauer) Mettler.
He was the loving father of Barbara and Ken Brown of Arizona, Beverly and Fred Driscoll of New London, Dianna and Sam Sanso of Clinton, Linda Power of Westbrook, and Margaret and Paul Rembisz of Clinton. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and his significant other, Terry Mittica.
Memorial services will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, May 19, at the Guilford Funeral Home, 115 Church St., Guilford. Friends may call prior to the services from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Guilford Funeral Home, Guilford. Burial will take place privately.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Mr. Mettler's memory may be made to Middlesex Weiss Hospice, Office of Philanthropy, Middlesex Hospital, 28 Crescent St., Middletown, CT 06457.
