Lavictoire Jean-Pierre Obituary
He was born in Haiti, on April 8, 1929, the son of Lavius and Claire Bruno Jean-Pierre.
He was the husband of Bernadette Wagnac, who survives him.
Mr. Jean-Pierre had been employed as a machinist for Pathway and was retired. He attended the Flanders Baptist and Community Church in East Lyme.
In addition to his wife, Bernadette, he is survived by three sons, Archange and his wife, Marie J.B. Jean-Pierre, of Middletown, Fritzgerald and his wife, Rachelle Jean-Pierre, of Deep River, Guy and his wife, Anne-Marie Kedna Jean-Pierre, of Waterford; three daughters, Anique Jean-Pierre of Deep River, Marie Edline and her husband, Ebel Pimentel, and Martha and her husband, Garfield Mills, all of Spring Valley, N.Y. He has three brothers, Jules, Merilhome, and Ambroise Jean-Pierre and a sister, Petronille Jean-Pierre, all of Haiti; as well as 20 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; and two nieces and three nephews.
The funeral service will be conducted at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 31, 2013, at Flanders Baptist and Community Church, with interment to follow in East Lyme Cemetery. Calling hours will be from 5 to 7 p.m. on Friday at the Thomas L. Neilan & Sons East Lyme Funeral Home, 48 Grand St., Niantic.
