Lea Barber Obituary
She graduated from the Joseph Lawrence School of Nursing in 1955. She worked as the school nurse in the Montville school system, retiring after +20 years.
In addition to her husband, Norman, she is survived by her children and their spouses, Marie (Haner) and Kenneth of Canterbury, Leon and Diane Barber of Concord, N.C., Laurie (Muff) and Leroy of Ocala, Fla., Carol (Howard) and Thomas of Uncasville; she leaves behind her eight grandchildren, Janna, Jason, Lori, Christopher, Crystal, Chad, Samantha and Krista; eight great-grandchildren; and one great-grandchild due in Feb.

We are very sorry to hear of your Mom's passing. Although I have not seen her in a very long time, I will never forget her. She was always a hot ticket ... alot of fun, with a big heart. You are all in our thoughts and prayers.

My husband and I are very sorry for your loss, we know this is a very difficult time, but one thing that helped us in the past was to know that God is always there to answer our prayers and He provides help in so many ways and at the right time. Philippians 4:13 says "For all things I have the strength by virtue of him who imparts power to me."
