I worked for Lois for many years as her cleaning lady and also at the IGA. She always remembered everyones birthday. At christmas I always got a gift, a big tray of her homemade cookies, and even something for my husband. She always brought me back something when she and Bernie went on vacation. I remember her sending giant trays of cookies with Bernie to share with the Waterford P.D at christmas. Such a wonderful human being, she left the world a better place than she found it. Hope her and Bernie are vacationing in heaven, she deserves it!

I was so saddened to hear of Lois's passing. We worked together years ago at The Day. She was such a wonderful, loving woman. She will be greatly missed.

I'm so sorry to read of Lois' passing. She was one the first who trained me at The Day. I'll never forget her advice "CYA"!

I worked with Lois at The Day. She was the “MOM” of our group. She was one of the kindest, most generous people I've ever known. She never missed a birthday and every year, she would always make each and every member of the team a special Christmas gift. Lois was the go to person for everything; aspirin, advice, and always good for a good recipe. The only thing that she ever asked for in return was to stop by her desk for a quick chat now and again. I consider myself lucky to have known her, and I am thankful that I got to see her one last time. Rest in peace dear friend.

Lois and her family have, for years, embraced our family as part of their own, even going so far as to include us in their vacations and holidays. Lois was one of the most thoughtful and generous people I have ever met. I do not recall her ever saying an unkind word about anyone. We love you and miss you, Lois!
