Lucy Smith Obituary
She was born July 14, 1972, in New London, a daughter of Joan (Hamilton) Pond of Preston and the late Lyman R. Pond III.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by two sons, Michael Wisniewski of Mystic and Joshua Smith of Waterford; grandparents, Lyman and Rita Pond Jr. of Quaker Hill; two brothers, Lyman Russell Pond IV and his wife, Carol, of Quaker Hill, Christopher Allen Pond of Quaker Hill; two sisters, Vickie Pond Spakowski and her husband, Timothy, of Oakdale, Katherine Pond Sharpe and her husband, William, of Quaker Hill; and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by a sister, Elaine Pond.
Calling hours will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 13, at the Montville Funeral Home of Church & Allen, Route 32, Montville.

I'm completely shocked, Lucy was my best friend for along time, hard to believe she is gone, we're not promised tomorrow are we? I know one day I'll see her again, she came to know the LordJesus Christ sometime ago and I'll never forget how happy she was, she acted of being free, the Lord cleansed her andforgave her of her sin.
