Mark Dennis Obituary
A long time foreman at Electric Boat in Groton, Mark was an avid lover of fishing, gardening, cooking and Busch beer.
He is survived by his sons, Jesse and Jake Dennis; and daughter, Allison Swatts; as well as son-in-law, Darriel Swatts. He also leaves behind his sister, Ann Lain; brother, Karl Dennis; and sister-in-law, Kathy Dennis; along with several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service at 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 16, 2013, in Central Baptiste Church, Elm St., Westerly.
Calling hours are from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, April 15, 2013, in the Buckler-Johnson Funeral Home, 121 Main St., Westerly.
Burial will be private.

WHOA... this just isn't right.... I am flying home from Mexico today to attend the memorial service for a 28 year old "surrogate" son.....Mark makes 4 deaths in 2 weeks....Am so sorry for your loss as a family.... I know how overwhelming it can be... AM MORE THAM SORRY I WAS NOT AWRAE UNTIL NOW..... I would have come home a couple days earlier.... Prayers to you... Chrissy Anne

Mark and I started work together at EB as pipefitters on the same day in 1974. Great guy. Lots of memories.

I had the pleasure of meeting Mark at his daughters and my son's wedding last year, it was obvious that Mark was a very nice and gentle person who loved his daughter very much and was very proud of her.
Mark and I spoke about the jobs we both had and it was obvious to me that he was a hard worker and held high standards to both his job and life.
I only wish that our time could have been longer to get to know each other more.
