Maureen Erpenbeck Obituary
Maureen was born into a family of 10 siblings in County Cork, Ireland, on July 24, 1926. After immigrating to the U.S. in her mid 20s, she lived and worked in New York City and was very proud the day she became an American citizen.
She later moved to Fishers Island, N.Y., where she met and married her husband, Henry H. Erpenbeck Jr. (deceased). Maureen and Henry raised their three children in Old Lyme.
She was predeceased by her son, Henry W. Erpenbeck of Old Lyme.
She leaves behind two daughters, Maryanne Meyer and her husband, Richard Meyer, of Bellingham, Mass., Regina Erpenbeck and her fiancé, Tom Sessa, of Somers. She also leaves behind her two grandchildren, Sarah Meyer of Boston, and Ryan Meyer of Bellingham, Mass.
Maureen is remembered by many as a happy-go-lucky lady, full of life. She enjoyed each day as it came her way and made the best of any situation.
Maureen's family cannot thank the staff at Coccomo enough for the care, concern, daily activities, and safe haven that made Maureen happy each and every day! Thank you!

Was so sad to hear about poor Aunt Maureen. My memories are all good ones full of laughter and fun. She will bring laughter and fun to all above. Back with all her family again and I know that Mom, Nora, Henry and Billy are all waiting for her as is the rest of the family. Will miss you loads. Thinking of all of you at this time.

My heart breaks for your family. I am so sorry about your loss. I will always remember Auntie Maureens Laugh and her smile. I never got to see her much but when I did that is what I will always remember. She is now at peach with Unce Henry, Cousin Billy, Uncle Richard and My dad George. I love you guys
