Nancy Gray Obituary
She was born in New London, June 12, 1949, the daughter of Anthony and Elizabeth (Wheeler) Smith.
She was the wife of Brian R. Gray, who she married on July 8, 1967. He survives her.
Mrs. Gray had been employed as a bookkeeper for the former First National Stores and had worked for the family business, Maple Leaf Caterers.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, Jeffrey Gray and his children, Christian, Julianna, Areanna, and Keira; a daughter, Shannon Mayer and her husband, Tracy, and their children, Jordan, Jada, Joseph, and Jack, all of Waterford. She is also survived by her brother, Robert Smith and his wife, Kathryn, of Westerly and sister, Susan Ukleja and her husband, Vincent, of Quaker Hill.
The funeral service will be conducted at 10 a.m. on Wednesday at the Thomas L. Neilan & Sons Funeral Home, 12 Ocean Ave., New London. Interment will be in St. Mary Cemetery. Calling hours are from 5 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.

Brian and Family, We were saddened to hear about Nancy's passing. I am even more saddened not to be able to be there in person. Marilyn,Nancy and I were inseparable as kids growing up on Maple Ct. Memories of her and that magical time are embedded in my memory.
