Patricia Woodall Obituary

Montville - Patricia "Patty" Woodall, 61, of Uncasville, entered eternal life on Sept. 21, 2013, after a four year courageous battle with cancer, in the comfort of her loving husband and family.

She was born on June 24, 1952, the daughter of the late Salvatore and Mary (Oliverio) Romano. Patty graduated from St. Bernard High School in New London and later Southern Connecticut State University.

She was united in marriage to Russell "Woody" Woodall on May 3, 1975, in St. Mary Star of the Sea Church. Mr. Woodall survives her.

Patty was a devoted, loving wife and mother. Her family meant the world to her, and she was engrossed in every aspect of their lives.

Besides her husband, she is survived by two children, Matthew Woodall of New London and Michelle Tulli and husband, Dino, of Montville; a sister, Paula Burrell and husband, Tony, of Groton; and her granddaughter, Samantha Tulli.

Her family will receive relatives and friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday at the Impellitteri-Malia Funeral Home, 84 Montuak Ave., New London. Guests are asked to gather for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. on Wednesday in St. John the Evangelist Church, 22 Maple Ave., Uncasville. Interment will be in St. Mary Cemetery, New London.

Woody,Matt,& Michelle,
I can't imagine what it means to loose a wife/spouse or mother, luckily I'm still blessed with mine, but my heart breaks for you. I haven't known all of you for very long, but I've seen the love you all share. I can't be there in person, but my prayers are with you and I know God and Jesus have Patty with them and she's feeling much better. God and Jesus also are with you, so you can go to them when you need to. Take care all of you. Patty, I know you feel better where you are.
Love to all, Kim (Smith)Keller

Patty and I graduated together from SBGHS way back when. Would always enjoy seeing her at DMV though not my favorite place to be. She always had a smile and a few good words for you. She will be missed. Praying for your family Patty.
