Our family will always remember the wonderful times we had in Ireland on Sean's bus tours with Phyllis and the gang. Colleen always enjoyed singing songs and playing games on the bus with Auntie Phyllis. She couldn't wait to show Phyllis her book she was drawing for her trip when we met for dinner.
Phyllis was a kind sole and wonderful teacher and lived and loved live. We always looked forward to her cards and letters every holiday.

Miss Lapuc was a great 2nd grade teacher at Fields Memorial...she was a great role model for so many kids and taught us to have manners and treat our friends with kindness.

As a neighbor to my father and mother, she was a wonderful person. She always had a witty word to say when we visited and kept me informed of all the events on the street. She will be missed by all of us.

I have many great memories of bowling with Phyllis many years ago in the Norwich Teachers Bowling League. Then we re-connected at St. Mary's. Phyllis was a delightful lady and she will be missed! Rest in peace, Phyllis.

I loved Miss Lapuc and always respected her. After many years of living out of Connecticut I ran into her and she still called me Little Debbi Mish. We both laughed, because she wasn't as tall to me as she was when I was that little girl. God Bless and prayers to all of her family and friends. She left a great legacy simply by being a wonderful teacher.

Friends and family of Phyllis,
So sorry to learn of her passing. She was so much fun to travel with in Ireland. I am sure she is being serenaded with Irish tunes when she enters heaven.
