Robert Bergeson Obituary
Robert was born in New London, on June 19, 1953, the son of Paul and Edith Bergeson. Prior to his retirement, he worked at Pfizer in Groton; and was a devoted father to his two children and gave them the world.
He was a hardworking man who enjoyed riding his motorcycle, training dogs and an occasional cigar.
Robert is survived by his mother, Edith; his son, Troy Bergeson; his daughter, Samantha Bergeson; and his grandchildren, Teagan Bergeson, Tessa Bergeson and Daemyen Griswold.
His family will be holding a Celebration of his Life from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, at the Byles Memorial Home, 99 Huntington St., New London.

Daddy,
The love I have for you is undeniable, you were one of my best friends and were always there to support me. You didn't judge me and loved me unconditionally. You let me venture through life making the mistakes that most kids do, so I could grow up to strong and independent. However, you were always there to pick me up anytime I failed. Life isn't perfect but I know in my heart that you are looking over me and protecting me. I love you Daddy and I miss you more and more everyday.

Our memories of Bob were of happy times. Bob was an excellent dog trainer and worked diligently with us training our hyper lab. Also many great social gatherings with Bob and Gale. Will truly miss him. Our deepest sympathies to Gale, Sam and the entire family.

Dear Samantha, Troy & Family
My daughter Catherine & I are deeply saddened by your loss. Your Dad and I were classmates in Waterford and reconnected when he moved to Salem where he helped my husband, Dave, train our shepherd. We knew Bob to be a helpful and kindhearted friend.
