Dear Marie and Family,
I will always remember Bob as a strong and gentle presence in our lives. I know my parents, Doug and Dorothea Krauter, were very fond of him. What wonderful times we all had long ago in Seattle and Connecticut.
With love to you all,
Cheryl Krauter (Leonard) and John Leonard El Cerrito, CA

Marie and family,
The first words that came to mind in reading Bob's obituary this morning were honesty, integrity and professionalism. He never compromised his values and inculcated those around him with the same sense of obligation. It was a privilege working for Bob back in the heyday of the 637-Class new construction program and he will always be remembered by me as a good manager, mentor and friend. Please accept my sincerest condolences.

Dear Marie and family.... Ginny and I send our deepest condolences; we were so sorry to hear, but so glad we talked to you and Bob so recently. Bob and I worked as close together as two men could for ten years and I never ceased to admire him as my boss. God Bless you all. Ginny and Frank.
