Willanna Mackins Obituary
She leaves to cherish her memory a daughter, Ida Smith Battle; four grandchildren, Earl Battle Jr. Andre Martinez, Erica Battle Lee, and Anacelia Martinez Smith; 10 great-grandchildren; four brothers, Robert, John, Ossie, and Jessee McClellan; and a sister, Waheeda Amin.
She was predeceased by her husband, Herman Mackins; three brothers, John Bailey "Mac", Edward Lee and William McClellan; five sisters, Virginia Denton "Virgie", Oprah and Rosie Lee McClellan, Pearl Bolden, and Ella Mae Gaston.
A celebration of her life will be held at 6 p.m. on Monday at Lester Gee Funeral Home, 108 Blinman St., New London. Relatives and friends may call from 5 p.m. until the time of service. Interment will be at 10 a.m. on Tuesday at Cedar Grove Cemetery.
