William Rogers Obituary
Born in New London, he was the son of the late William and Mary Emma (Whipple) Rogers and lived in Groton for most of his life. Bill was a chemical operator for 36 years with Pfizer and was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II.
He enjoyed the outdoors and especially working with his family on home improvement projects.
Bill is survived by his son, John Rogers of Jamaica Plains, Mass.; a daughter-in-law, Diane Rogers of Quaker Hill; and a granddaughter, Shelby Rogers of Quaker Hill.
He was predeceased by a son, Charles Rogers; brother, Ernest Rogers; and a sister, Muriel Fowler.
Funeral services and burial are private. There are no calling hours.
The Mystic Funeral Home, Route 1, has charge of arrangements.
