Huntersville, N.C. - Adelaide Anna Rodgers, 92, died Aug. 30, 2012, with her family by her side in Huntersville, N.C.

She was born Sept. 11, 1919, in White Plains, N.Y. She retired and moved to Connecticut in 1982. She later moved to Harrisburg, N.C., in 2007, to be near her two daughters.
Her interests included family, gardening, knitting, sewing, bird watching, and reading.
Mrs. Rodgers is survived by her sister, Ann Bates of Harrisburg; two daughters and a son and their spouses, Barbara and Peter Weber of Harrisburg, Deolinda and William Everham of Kannapolis, N.C.; Kenneth A. and Jenny Rodgers of Meridian, Idaho; and three grandchildren, Kenneth M. and Brian Rodgers, and Will Everham; and two great-grandchildren, Whitney Patient and Payson McClendon.
