Andrea Costick Obituary
Andrea was born in Norwich, on Dec. 11, 1949, the daughter of Angus W. Park and the late Terry (Tounge) Park.
She is survived by her husband, her father, her siblings, Merrill P. Keeley, Joan Ryan, Julie Vowels; and very special friend and confidante, Deborah Stiggle. She also leaves her children, Daniel G. Costick and Adrianne R. Pugh, both of Norwich; daughter-in-law, Nicole Costick; grandchildren, James D. Hymon, Devon A. Pugh, Taylor P. Costick, Gaige A. Pugh, and Justin D. Costick; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews residing in the Norwich area and in southeastern Maine.
She retired from the State of Connecticut after 35 years of service. She had been a psychiatric aide at Norwich Hospital and then a secretary for the Department of Social Services. After her children were grown, she returned to school and earned an associate's degree in secretarial sciences from Three Rivers Community College.
The sand dollars at Old Orchard Beach, Maine are now safe, and her close friends and family will no longer be able to fill their daily fresh vegetable needs from her bountiful garden. Zinnia production will definitely be affected by her passing.

There are no calling hours. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Dec. 29, at the Hanover Cemetery, Potash Hill Road, Hanover. All family and friends are invited.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice Southeastern Connecticut or the American Cancer Society.

Thank you everyone for your kind words and heartfelt memories. This was a big blow to our family and our lives are forever changed. My mother would've been deeply moved by all of the wonderful words people had to say about her. We appreciate all of the love and support through this extremely difficult time in our lives.

To Bruce and family,
Andrea was a wonderful human being. She was always positive and upbeat at work and made everyone around her happy. I got to know her by taking her to lunch about once a week and she made my stay in Norwich a pleasant one. She stood by her friends when they needed her and she will be missed by all of us. Although Peggy knew her only for a short time, she cherished her friendship and will miss her greatly. Andrea always had a smile and enjoyed a good laugh no matter what was happening. The world was a better place for her presence in it and she will be greatly missed by both of us.

I knew your wife and mom for many years in working side by side and outside of work. She always had a positive attitude and was very uplifting.
