Groton - Barbara Kiebus, 90, formerly of 20 Governors Circle, Groton, passed away on Monday evening, Aug. 27, 2012, at Lawrence & Memorial Hospital in New London.
She was born in Hartford on Nov. 25, 1921, the daughter of Arthur L. and Helen (Aspinal) Jones. Barbara had worked as an insurance coder at Aetna Insurance Co.
She is survived by a nephew, Gordon Page; and a niece, Darleen Woodward, both of Groton; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her son, Douglas Konney; and her husband, Raymond Kiebus, who passed away in 1998.
A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 5, at the Neipsic Cemetery, Glastonbury.
Byles Memorial Home is in charge of arrangements.
