Montville - Betty Lorraine (Campbell) LaFlamme, 87, of 51 Hammel Lane, Uncasville, passed away early Friday morning, Aug. 3, 2012, at Greentree Manor in Waterford.
She was born Dec. 10, 1924, in Norwich, the daughter of Collier Cole Campbell and Gladys Irene Gardner.
Betty married Arthur James LaFlamme Sr. on June 30, 1944, in Montville, and is survived by six of her seven children, Michele LaFlamme of Florida, Marjory Tyrseck and her husband, Bob, of Montville, Linda LaFlamme of Florida, Ted LaFlamme of Montville, Pete LaFlamme and his wife, Maureen, of Norwich, Carrie Ann and her partner, Sam Murallo, of Griswold; and five grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her sisters, Dorothy Stuckey of Newington, Jean Stefanski of North Carolina, Irene Fujiwara, Shirley Miceli, and Nancy Campbell, all of New London.
She was predeceased by her parents, her husband, and her son, Arthur James Jr.; also her grandchildren, Michael Angeloszek and Peter William LaFlamme.
She loved being around her family.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 6, 2012, at Comstock Cemetery, Uncasville. There will be no calling hours.
