Casey Neal Ricker Obituary
Mystic - Casey Neal Ricker passed away peacefully in his sleep, at home in Mystic, August 30, 2018. He was born in San Jose, Calif., to Jean (Kibbe) Ricker of Burnsville, N.C., and Gordon L Ricker, who predeceased him. He moved to Connecticut in 1994, from North Charleston, S.C., where he left behind many great friends.

At the time of his passing, he was employed as a civilian at the Naval Submarine Base New London. He was a graduate of Stall High School in North Charleston, S.C., and from the University of Connecticut.

He is survived by his beloved wife Dianna "Lynn" (Lookabill) Ricker, son Jacob (Alley) Ricker of Mystic, daughter Emily (Julian) Romero of Santa Rita, Guam, three adored grandchildren, his mother, Jean, of North Carolina, sisters Teresa (Tom) Godfrey and Darcy (Allen) Strand of Aberdeen, S.D., and several other much loved family members.

Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 7, at the Dinoto Funeral Home, 17 Pearl St., in historic downtown Mystic. Family and friends are invited to the Ricker residence for a reception following the service.

The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, donations in Casey's honor be made to the Wounded Warrior Project or to the .
