Griswold - God called Charlotte Mosher, 93, beloved mother of Paula Murano and Marsha Klein to join him and his angels in his heavenly home on Sunday, Jan. 13, 2013.|
Charlotte was born on March 12, 1919, in Jewett City, to Kazimierz and Maryanna (Szceydsiel) Wojtkun. She had seven brothers and sisters and resided in Jewett City her entire life.
On Sept. 1, 1941, Charlotte married the love of her life, Paul Murano.
In 1942, Charlotte and Paul were blessed with a daughter, Paula and three years later they welcomed Marsha into the world.
In 1977, Paul predeceased Charlotte and in 1984, she married Walter Mosher, who also predeceased her.
Throughout her life, Charlotte was a consummate mother and homemaker who enjoyed life, gardening, nature, cooking, and baking. Much to the delight of her family, friends, and neighbors, she loved sharing her goodies. It was a Christmas tradition for Charlotte and daughter Paula to make pirogues for the entire family to enjoy on Christmas Eve. Charlotte was a very special mother who cherished her family and provided them with many inspiring words of wisdom, imparting her unbelievable strength and love of nature, people, and life.
Charlotte was predeceased by all her siblings, Frankie, Alex, Charlie (her twin), Johnny, Helen, Stella, and Jane; as well as her nephew, Charles Jr.
She is survived by two daughters, Paula Murano and her companion, Michael Hillsberg, Marsha Klein and her husband, David; as well as four grandchildren, Jeffrey Keenan and wife, Brandi, Laurie Keenan and fiancÃ©, Jeremy St. Onge, Matthew Klein and his fiancÃ©e, Suzanne Leeds, Michelle Nemiroff and husband, Brian; and three great-grandchildren, Sydney, Haylee, and Reese Nemiroff.
The family would like to acknowledge the exceptional loving care Charlotte received from the staff and employees at Orchard Grove and Masonic Care, Hospice personnel and volunteers who brightened her days and eased her passing.
A Memorial Mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 26, 2013, at St. Mary Church, Main St., Jewett City. Interment will be private.
