New London - Clelia Bolanos, 94, of Charles St., New London, died Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2012, at Lawrence & Memorial Hospital in New London.

She was born June 9, 1918, in Tunia, Colombia, the daughter of Manuel and Clelia Bolanos, and was the widow of Joaquin Bolanos. She was employed as a seamstress, and attended St. Mary Star of the Sea Church in New London.
She is survived by three sons, Orlando Bolanos of New Haven, Kino Bolanos of Mystic, Jorge Bolanos of New London; two daughters, Ofir Lenhart of Stamford, Lourdes "Lee" Dyer of New London; and a sister, Amalia Quintana of Colombia. She has 17 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday, in St. Mary Star of the Sea Church, Huntington Street, New London. Entombment will follow in St. Mary Mausoleum. There are no calling hours.
