Montville - Edwina J. Maryeski, died Wednesday, May 9, 2012, in an auto accident in Uncasville.
She was born in New London, on Aug. 24, 1938, the daughter of Stephen and Helen (Swinski) Maryeski. Edwina started work at The Day as an office manager in 1966 and retired as a financial accountant in 1996.
Her immediate survivors include her brother, Stephen Maryeski and his wife, Maria; her sister, Beverly Kowal and her husband, Matthew; and her niece, Beth L. Kowal.
She was pre-deceased by her parents.
The funeral service and burial in Cedar Grove Cemetery, New London will be private. There are no calling hours
Byles Memorial home, 99 Huntington St., New London is assisting with the arrangements.
A Memorial Service will be scheduled on a date and time in June to be announced, at the Calvary Episcopal Church, Stonington.
