It has been so long since I talked with you, but you and the captain have always been on mind, as I travel the world. I wish I had known you better, and that I could tell you about all the things I have learned. I know that you are in a better place now, I miss you and my other grandparents very much. Love, Eric

Mom, I saw you in my dreams last night. I'm so glad you came back for a visit. It's been such a long, horrendous, distructive disease. I almost forgot who you were. Come back for another visit whenever you want. I love you. Carol

Eleanor, I've missed you .You and your family brought so much pleasure and kindness to me. Mike was as blessing and treasure to me. I will always remember your Hale-Bop..painting. I remember the other art work, yet, the Hale.....in particular, because that was great, even though you did not think SO! Thank you for all your love, support, and fun memories. I loved you the first time I met you and strolled down for a walk at McCooks! Love to your family. Love, E

I took care of Eleanor many years ago when I worked as a home health care aide. My name is Paula and I am so sorry for your loss. I remember Eleanor as a strong and beautiful lady. She is now in heaven with Bernard. It was my pleasure to care for her, she was a beautiful lady. Paula Romano Barile

Eleanor befriended me when I came to DMH in 1989 as a naive academic joining a state bureaucracy. She was ahead of her time and helped build the progressive client-oriented system that we have today. She was a tireless volunteer with the Eastern Regional Mental Health Board. We all miss her. Please let me know about the memorial service.

I love you mom. You were the center of the family, an inspiration to many, and an advocate for those you loved. You are sorely missed.
