Dear Jonathan, Mark and family,
I came to know Betty as a member of her singing group The Lyme Village Voices. Her spirit, dedication and lust for life was an inspiration to me. We loved watching as she would stroll through a crowd donned with reindeer garb and a flashing reindeer pin. How precious that memory is to me.
It made singing such a joy especially at Christmas time.
Betty and I also shared a love of bird watching and at times spent many hours on the phone as she would help me to identify a particular species in my backyard.
Her kindness and especially her strong faith inspired me at a time when great difficulty struck our family and I am forever grateful for her cheering me on.
She was truly a unique and special person and will be terribly missed by myself and many others.
God Bless you all in this time of sorrow.
